Parrish & Heimbecke Ltd
Parrish & Heimbecke, an over 100 year old company involved in agriculture products, commissioned us to update their projection setup in their primary boardroom. We retrofitted the room with updated Full HD Epson G6450WU projector and EluneVision Reference 4K In-Ceiling Tab Tensioned Motorized screens. We paid attention to two main factors:
- Ease of use
- Reliability
We do not want to burden the IT department of companies with additional issues with the new system so therefore we used the utmost simplicity in our design; this ensures 100% uptime and simple plug and play operation.
Reliability was also our chief focus, all products that were used in the project was proven and with long 3-5 year warranties. The Epson projector for example has 3 year warranty with 24/7 uptime and next day warranty service.
SPIN VFX
SPIN VFX is a Toronto-based visual effects company which specializes in computer based visual effects. Some of their work include contributions to Game of Thrones, Reign, Dominion, All is Lost and many more.
In 2013, SPIN VFX moved to a new facility and wanted to setup to two screening rooms to show their clients their work. Being one of the leading visual effects studios in the world, they demanded the best in terms of picture quality, contrast, black levels and colour accuracy. We invited the stakeholders from SPIN VFX to our demo room and went through multiple projectors for SPIN VFX to test with their content. After several hours of testing, the JVC DLA-X700R was selected to be the main projector to be used in their screen room along with the EluneVision Reference Studio 4K 120” Tab-Tensioned 4K Motorized Motorized Screen.
The installation was scheduled and completed on time and on budget to coincide for the opening of their new location. We fished all wires through the walls and did a very clean installation. Furthermore, we moved their old projector, Mitsubishi HC5000, to another screen room and installed that as well.
RPM Technologies
One of the employees of the client originally purchased his home theater equipment from us. He then recommended his employers to us. The issue is the old setup was that the resolution was too low. RPM Technologies frequently displayed large excel documents and they found their XGA projector that they were just recommended by their IT supplier just was not up to the task. To remedy this situation, we did an on-site consultation and provided a solution that would address their issues of detail and brightness. Furthermore, we were able to use their existing projector in another boardroom and install it with a projection screen and provide a full connectivity solution.
In short, we were able to provide:
- Bright Epson G6450WU Full HD projector
- New Onkyo Receiver that resolved issue of old receiver and cleaned up wiring
- Installed new projector mound and updated cable to new HDMI standard
- Used current projector to setup another boardroom cost effectively
- Installed Bright and HD EluneVision Fixed Frame projection screen
- Installed new boardroom flush Table Flip Open connectivity box with HDMI, SVGA and Power
- Provided very cost effective wall control panel based automation to turn on and off system and switch inputs
