Control all Hidden AV Equipment Double distance of IR Remote Controls with Hot Link XL
Control hidden AV Equipment 200 feet away, and double the useful distance of IR remote controls to 70 feet. Hide Hot Link’s Super Sensitive IR Sensor on the BACK of your TV and get great remote control performance! Hide TV cords and equipment in a cabinet, closet or basement 200 feet away. Everything is hidden including Hot link XL. Only your décor and TV are visible. Hot Link’s patented IR repeater circuit quadruples the sensitivity of the IR Receiver extending the range of IR sensors. It is like boosting the power of remote controls 4 times but without adding anything to the remote control. Hot Link’s IR Extender Circuit is also an all frequency IR repeater system with an IR Receiver and Transmitter that send the original IR codes and frequencies unchanged, to hidden AV equipment. The IR Receiver Cable can be extended as well from six feet to thirty-one feet, using our 25 foot Extension cable or made from RG6. RG6, a standard cord for cable boxes, is what an IR extender cable is made with. Hot Link is used to control TV Studio Room Equipment, to extend the range of IR Sensors for high ceiling mounted projectors in churches and auditoriums, hidden home theater systems in homes, on boats and planes and can be found controlling TVs in sports bars, exercise centers and hotels. Hot Link can be totally hidden and does not require line of site. Hot link is a single box solution with IR Sensor that works in all applications, all frequencies, and types of TVs and does not have programming limitations like the Samsung IR Extender.
Doubles remote Control Range to 70 feet. Use Cat5 or Cat6 Cable to extend 200 feet from the TV to hidden AV equipment. Extends and Repeats carrier frequencies 18Khz to 120Khz. Blue LED confirms receipt of IR commands. CONTENTS: Hot Link XL Repeater Box, (6) IR Transmitters on 7 feet of cable, Power Entry/Emitter Box, IR Receiver Eye on six feet of cable, Power Adapter, Mounting Accessories.
Turbo Charge remote controls and enhance the beauty of your home theater with Hot Link XL.
Additional Info:
How IR Sensors Work; An IR Sensor is what “sees” Remote control commands. Most IR sensors designed to receive remote control signals filter out the “carrier” and reproduce the carrier at an infrared blaster, limiting frequencies and creating timing errors and delays.
IR blaster is what is commonly used to send signals to hidden DVD Players and set top boxes. Hot Link uses low powered Infrared Transmitters for reliable performance. Hot Link is a remote control extender that “sees” remotes from twice as far away as the original distance and immediately sends remote control commands straight through to the infrared transmitters for hiding AV equipment, without removing carrier frequencies.
How to hide AV equipment;
Place Super Sensitive IR Sensor on back of TV near top edge. Attach one of the six Infrared Transmitters to IR sensors on AV equipment hiding within a cabinet. Cover TV cords or hide TV cables in wall between TV and cabinet. Cord Covers can be used along floors to hide TV cables. The IR Receiver is what Looks for the IR Pulses from Remote Controls and does not need direct line of site.
When IR is superior to RF.
Hot Link, a wired IR Repeater system that doubles the range of remote controls with a super sensitive IR Receiver that can “see” remote controls from twice as far away, so you no longer have to “aim” or “fish” for great response. Your system works just as it did before with no batteries to charge or change, no RF noise added to your home. No visible antennas or attachments and no holes to drill. Use any IR remote instead of a committed RF remote.
Works with all IR Remote Controls and devices including AT and T U-Verse and is more reliable than interference-prone RF IR repeaters with batteries to charge or frequency use limitations like Next Generation Remote Control Extenders and Radio Shack remote control extenders or RF IR Repeaters. Use Hot Link Pro for local remote control range extending, with remote to TV distances doubled to 70 feet and for TV and AV equipment wired from six to thirty feet. Hot Link Eye Cable is 6 feet long. IR Emitters are 7 feet long. Use Hot Link XL for eXtra Long distances to 200 feet, using Cat5 or Cat6 cable. For IR repeating to local AV Equipment, use Hot Link Pro.
For those using Wifi remote control for home theater, Hot Link makes a great IR transmitter distribution and adjunct IR control system.
Double Remote control performance, use all frequencies, all AV equipment, all the time.
New low price makes Hot Link XL a remote control extender best buy!
