RP-8060FA – Overview
Upgrade your home entertainment system with the Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-8060FA BLACK II Dolby Atmos Floorstanding Speaker in an appealing ebony finish. This speaker has two sets of drivers: a pair of front-firing 8″ Cerametallic woofers with a 1″ tweeter and an up-firing Atmos 6.5″ Cerametallic woofer with a 1″ tweeter. Upfiring Atmos drivers round out the surround sound experience by projecting sounds above the listener’s head. These drivers, combined with a premium housing and a slew of other features, deliver clear and powerful high-fidelity sound whether you’re watching movies or listening to music. Front-firing components can handle up to 150W RMS from your amplifier, while Atmos components can handle up to 100W RMS.
90 x 90° Silicone Composite Hybrid Tractrix Horn
Klipsch’s proprietary Tractrix geometry in the horn is specifically designed to efficiently transfer the tweeter’s high frequencies to the listener. This Tractrix horn from the second generation is larger for better directivity and a wider overall soundstage. This level of audio fidelity and smooth frequency response is achieved by combining the Tractrix horn with a phase plug and a compressed moulded silicone face.
LTS Titanium Diaphragm Tweeter
The LTS (Linear Travel Suspension) from Klipsch’s Reference line works to reduce distortion for more detailed audio reproduction.
Vented Tweeter Design
