The durable Klipsch AW-650 all-weather loudspeaker brings clean, clear, dynamic sound and worry-free performance to the great outdoors. The AW-650 typically handles 85 watts of power at 8 ohms, with peak handling of 340 watts. Yet because it’s so efficient, you get even more sound per watt, enabling this full-range model to work well in wide-open spaces.
Featuring a 6.5-inch IMG woofer and a 1-inch titanium dome tweeter mated to a square Tractrix horn, the AW-650 brings music to life with a broad frequency response from 70 to 20,000 Hertz. The speaker’s housing is a durable, UV-resistant, white ABS plastic enclosure, non-corrosive grille, easy draining input cup, and a heavy gauge zinc C-bracket with threaded inserts, the AW-650 easily brings high-quality music entertainment to your patio, garden, terrace, balcony or poolside.
The AW-650 can accommodate up to 12-gauge wire in order to preserve maximum sound quality (The use of at least 16-gauge or heavier stranded copper wire is recommended). The speaker measures 8 x 11.8 x 9 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 9 pounds.
